Default clutch slippage

I am getting "some" slippage when I floor it in 1st & even 2nd...I plan to replace the clutch disc ....but is there any criteria re replacing the pressure plate...or is that something that should be done at the same time....?

There are wear limits on everything. Replacing it while you're in there is a good idea.

What's the year of your car?

Once things come apart, much easier to know what is required.

You can post pictures here, and get 25 different opinions of what should be done.

Much easier.....
