Default 16' Tire for Turbo - What size

Hi All, i need your help i am getting back on the early offset phone dial for my 86 turbo with a strocker engine.

Can you tell ne what size tire i shall go the car is my daily so only street use.

shall i go the standard:
205/55/16 front
225/50/16 rear

or shall i go more agressive:
225/50/16 front
245/45/16 rear

What would be the advantage of those different setting or what other size would be more appropriate, the wheels are 7 & 8.
Thanks for your suggestions

The factory used both depending on the year of the turbo. I have tried both setups as I had the 205-55/225-50 on my '87 turbo and 225-50/245-45 on my '89 turbo and the difference was honestly negligible since its only 20mm. Just my $0.02

I'm no authority on this subject, but the wider the tire, the stiffer the suspension needs to be so that all of the tire makes contact with the road. Especially for a trailing arm suspension?

Thanks guys, for your input, i really appreciate, please any other please put your input, as it seems at the end that the 205 and 225 in 16 are the easier to find.

On 7/8" wheels I run 225/50-16 and 245/50-16, the rears are a smidge taller but that's been OK for me on the street in my 928S4, I run the same sizes on 7/9" Turbo S wheels on my 968, also with good results. These are common sizes, Camaros, etc. and easy to find.
