The 911 molding works as the 944 one is NLA.

$28 shipped, new.

Thanks! Just what I was looking for. I ordered it today. Hope it works. For under $30 it's worth just to see.

No problem, please update the post as I would love to see the fit/finish since I need a new one for my 85.5 944 and have been putting it off since last summer.

I also ordered the same part number from Porsche (OEM). See how close the products are. I will post pics. I would not have to be going through this had the installer done a better job with the gasket. This was done through my local dealership by the way.

Ok update to this thread. This is pre install. Ordered the above part from the website and also Porsche (Sunset) with the same part number. To see if there was maybe a difference (you never know). The first pics are of that part. The second pics are of the correct part. I think. I won't know until install. The first one is a continuous piece. The second is not and has ends that match what is on the car. They are the same width but it's hard to tell because the new part is curved. I'm hoping my installer can find a way to get it to lay flat. If anyone has any ideas that would be great. Hope this thread helps others who need to replace their winshield.

Here are the ends of the correct new part and the existing at bottom. I wonder if a heat gun can help it to lay flat and adhere to the windshield and A pillar better

personally I would take anything with a URO brand on the bag or part and deposit in a nearest unlined trash bin.

Go with the Porsche part. Most folks who have had any experience with 'URO' anything have found the products to be far less than substantial in quality. They come from every country on the globe wishing to make a fast buck.
Seriously...... ??? Porsche parts made in Turkey ? Ukraine ?
