Default Travelling down the 944Cup road... Parts I'll need

Gang, when I bought my car, I bought it with the intention of eventually converting it to 944Cup specs and racing it. That said, It appears that I won't be able to run the 1991 S2 suspension/brakes on my 1985.5 car. I'll need to start sourcing the parts to swap out the front suspension and the rear brakes. I searched, but did not find a list of parts that this swap encompasses, and since the car came already prepped with the S2 components, I'm asking for help from all of you for a list of those "parts" required to convert TO the s2 suspension. Once I get the bits together, I'll be sure and let those know who are interested when I'm ready to cut the S2 stuff loose.

Which 944 Cup class do you plan on running? SP1 or SP2?

But you CAN run S2 or 944T brakes in 944Cup.

In Sp2 with a 100 lb weight penalty.

I think it's a 150lb weight penalty - but, yes, if that's the path you want to go.

Why don't you just swap spindles, hubs and brake calipers with someone with a late offset NA who's looking to do a brake upgrade? (Since it sounds like you already have the late offset struts and control arms from the S2 installed on your early offset car.)

It is +150 and +150 if you have the 2.7.

Never really worried about it because you don't need bigger brakes on an SP2...
