Default 1990 S2 Sunroof drains

My S2 started leaking on front driver footwell when it rains.

I cleared the 4 drains with weed wacker line, but it still leaked.
As a test I held my finger over the discharge on top of the firewall and had an assistant pour water down the front left A pillar drain, man did it leak.
I suspect that actual tube is compromised.

How do I replace the A pillar drain tubes?

Most likely the drain tube has separated from the fitting inside the roof.

You will have to carefully go under the headliner to re-attach it. I checked the shop and parts manuals but a quick review did not reveal any helpful information about the routing.

Looking for the front sunroof drains on my '90 S2. Is this one of them...maybe it's missing a hose that gets it to the outside of the body?

No, there's no hose. The water just runs from there and drains through the hole by the battery. If that hole is plugged, or if you have a hole rusted in the battery area, you can get water in the passenger footwell.

Dunno if this is helpful or not. It’s the upper hose connection point on my gutted 83.

BTW, I found a rust hole in the battery box onthis car that let’s water leak down the passenger footwell. Might want to check that area on yours too.

Thanks guys. Battery tray area looks good. I just want to do a preemptive cleaning of the drain tubes. I found the rears easily but took a while to find the fronts. Actually right now my worst leak problems are around the taillights and possibly the hatch pins

Sounds like you may have hatch seal issues and/or delaminating hatch issues if there are leaks there.
