Default Rutt's Hut, the aftermath...

As always, it's great to meet some new 'listers! The dog's are getting restless but I figured I'd post a couple pics before anything else....

I didn't get there early enough for the standard pics, I don't know if anyone else took any, I did take a handful on the road out of there.
(edit; see next post)
and

I must like these mirror shots,

but my favorite pic (out of several similar shots)

I was hoping for something of Damian's cab that would be "avatar worthy." We lost Andy K somewhere on the GSP, I never saw Raj once we hit the road and we passed HP Farm at the tollbooth getting onto 78.

Dave and the rest of the gang - it was great meeting all of you! Maybe next time it won't be so cold and I can be as daring as Damian by putting the top down on my car!

Can someone explain why every time I put up a post with multiple pictures, there's always one pic that doesn't come up. I can't find any flaw in the URL or anything, infact all 4 pics were pasted from the same URL and then I just edited the one digit, the digit is correct!

Nevermind, I found it!

Dave, thanks for hosting the pics. The guy with the red Turbo gave me the thumbs up before I even gave him a wave. Raj, Riccardo, and I went on to the auto magazine store then stopped at a Starbucks for some coffee and bsing. I watched as Winslow got pushed into the gravel alonside the fast lane on 78 by a knucklehead driving a minivan, he was dirttracking the car to get it straightened up-nice job at 75mph. The guy turned right in front of him without looking. Close call. Raj, Riccardo, and I had a nice zip back on 78, carving up the traffic nicely. Hats of to all who attended today, especially Rally Guy from the great white north. Burp!

Dave and fellow Rutt Hut aficienados,

Those dogs are working on me, and I have to go to a dinner party tonight.
Won't I be pleasant company for my wife and my other dinner companions?

WOW, there was some great equipment at the Hut today, really kind of interesting how after a few years we modify our Porsches and they really become our own. I enjoyed meeting all of you guys, I think we will need a spring meeting just to make sure I enjoyed today as much as I thought I did!

Damian, I do hate mini vans, I'm gratefull I didn't have my boot in it when that guy tried to share my space.

Thanks again everybody,

Winslow

It was a good time! The mullet mobile was parked across the way next to the dumpster until a huge truck trying to navigate the lot drove between th porsches towards the dumpster. then i moved it in front of the porsches.

Thanks Winslow for confirming a crappy ride from the rear is standard on the camaro.

There is a great 50 's drive in up here by the ballpark. Easy to get to and plenty of room . Most of the clubs go there and then go watch a minor leaque ball game. Would be a great day for the whole family.

Cool road shots Dave! Looks like we're all driving right-drive cars! And I love the one of Damian in his cruising mode, elbow resting on the door. "How YOU doin??"

That was a fun time! It was good to finally meet the guys I've been emailing but never met. We should do it more often, and in better weather! And I could do without eating Rutts Hut food for another lifetime! Let's find a large parking lot near a casual snack type place, so we could BS about cars while munching on a hot pretzle and soda or something.

I got stuck in the right lane as you guys zipped away from me on the GSP! Booo! There was a lot of traffic for some reason. Glad Winslow avoided a wreck--that black "Horsepower Farm" 951 is sweet looking, and tastefully modded--anyone catch the nice metal panel w/boost guages on the center console? Cool!

I'm waiting to see JK's Canadian digital photos when he gets a chance to post 'em. Cool meeting you, Eh!
