Default Porsche turbo 944 - $7000 ??

What's with this?

https://seattle.craigslist.org/tac/cto/6090891452.html

1986 porsche turbo 944. Odometer quit working but motor has been rebuilt before i purchased it. I dont have any receipts for services but a visual inspection will show some proof. Aftermarket upgraded turbo, custom dash, door panels, steering wheel, turbo twist rims with low profile high end tires, motor has been upgraded all over, don,t know alot about engine diagnosis but this car runs unbelievable and very fast. I have a list of mod,s done to car to much to list. Black paint job is a cheap one but if you know anything these 944 turbos a nice paint job would increase value and looks incredibly. I don,t have time for car hate to see it go but if you look and drive tbis turbo you,ll fall in love with it like I did. Selling for 7000 thanks for reading.

That's... weird.... Some of that custom stuff, and the club style wheel, likely cost as much as it's worth really. It's not a 7k 951. They only really have value when you keep them stock ish. However, if someone had 7k in their pocket, and really liked the mods.... who knows... I might pay 3-4K, if it ran really well.

Rattle can paint job? and it looks like a stock FPR and stock injectors, yet it supposedly has a big turbo. Looks like a lot of the work was done by a caveman. The interior actually looks nice, but who would spend $$$ on a dash refurb and put "PORSCHE" on it....tacky.

only if they're in showroom condition and have under 100k miles.
"typical" 951 is still a $10k car.
a beat one like this one could be down as low as $3k depending where you look

That's exactly how I imagine a $7k 951 to look. Probably closer to $5k with the interior and exterior.
