Saw some G-48 [blue label?] and G-40 [pink label?] on the shelf today. Didn't have much time, but G-48 said something about being applicable to Audi, BMW, and Porsche, and G-40 said something about being applicable to Porsche from 2005- on. Will have to go back and read the container more carefully.

All antifreeze types come in all colors these days. It's not a valid indicator of what type of fluid is in the car or bottle.

I wind up googling IAT, OAT, HOAT, and POAT every time I do it...I never remember which is what and what a particular car needs.

I would flush it multiple times (run the engine and heat, etc) before the "final fill". A lot of gunk seems to hang around:

Zerex G-05 Phosphate Free. Even says, "Recommended for Porsche" on the label. Advance Auto now has it. I buy it online and use the latest discount code.

Are you thinking of Zerex G-40 instead? That one does say Porsche on it...
G-05 doesn't...

I don't have the bottle in front of me but the back label said "Authorized by Ford, Mercedes, etc." There was a second paragraph below that which said "Recommended for" and had "Porsche" in the listing. I guess we have to figure out if they mean the entire fleet or new or old generation. I'm due for a change so probably going to buy the G-40 next.
