Price check 968 Clubsport
I'd be interested to hear opinions on value of 2 owner 968 Clubsport with 22k miles. I haven't seen the car yet, nor do I have any other info at present. Any input would be appreciated, thx.

you might have more luck in the 968 sub-forum or on TIPEC/petrolheads. The last 3 968 clubsports that have come up for sale in New Zealand in the last 4 years have been between 25-45,000 NZD* with a rough one at the lower end of the spectrum.
*Approx 14,308 - 25,755 GBP

I think if the car is ready to go, excepting things like tires and a belt service I think that this is a $35k-$45k car. And a solid buy at that price.
Look anywhere for sale in the UK, where they got the most club sports.

^ tidy car but the original steering wheel and seats are missing which is a shame as it looks otherwise well optioned. Japanese import too. Is that worth 39k to a UK buyer?

Agreed that prices for a good, solid, needs-nothing 968 CS should start in the mid-high $30k range and go up from there based on mileage and condition to a high of maybe $60k.
Now, unless you have a workaround, you'll never be able to legally drive the car in California. The car is also not exempt yet on a Federal level, though that will begin to change next year for the 1993 model year cars due to the 25-year law. That still won't change things in CA though.
Recently, someone was selling a 924 Carrera GT in California because he wasn't able to get it registered for road use after a few years of ownership and that car is obviously exempt on a Federal level by now.
