I understand the cause for raising money, but I can't help but ask why you're parting out what looks like a great car?

Yes Michael, a great-n-fun car indeed!
We tried to auction her but ran into some thick red tape.
In this multifaceted approach I get to teach my daughter about commitment and sacrifice through my actions. Trust me she will be helping me break the 944 down. She also will be learning how to turn a wrench and be empowered to do what any boy can do skill wise.

The short game is to raise money for the charities much believed in.
The long game is to establish a setup where companies can donate parts and the young people learn how to rebuild cars, bikes, boats, etc. Once a vehicle is completely rebuilt it gets auctioned off and the process repeats itself thus helping create more individuals with literacy. If I can put this into motion with my 944 than that’s a good thing - total recycle!

Its another approach that can and will work. There are lots of ways to helping address the issue besides spending copious hours in front of a book. I could go on but I hope you have a better understanding of the objective.

Ya... she was the car I saw when I was 16yrs, I later got here and it turned into a romantic 24yr daily driver. I'll get another one
