Note the leather console as well. Wheel has a small crest, not the larger crest that Werk 1 used later.

As someone who occasionally attempts woodworking projects for my own amusement, doing something like this has crossed my mind, and I've been curious to see how an early-style dash would pull it off. I think I like it better than I expected I would...

I had a similar kit in my first 944, a 1983 model. No way it was factory, but it was an interesting look. I remember being torn on it at the time, but the OE 'brushed metal' plastic and the carpet around the shifter? Blech.
I've got an 84 now, and I'm back to considering trying to fab my own similar kit, but using actual brushed metal pieces instead of wood.

I have anothes two OE Wooden trim sets MISB - one is lighter and the other is darker as the one i installed . I think they give a nice ambiance to the 924S interior but again thats a personall view
