I would try to fab something that is held on by oil pan bolts similar to clewett's sensor mount.

AC tensioner is imo bad location for sensor.

Many folks have used this style of mount with success on our cars for over a decade. I personally have never had a tensioner snap so your experiences may point you in a different direction.

Here's my 2 cents I mounted mine between the AC/Alt belt pulley and the PS pulley.
I removed 2 of the AC/Alt belt pulley to balance shaft cog wheel and replaced them with longer bolts that went through trigger wheel
I also added 2 nuts that cinched down after I tightened the trigger wheel to the pulley the PS pulley is then re installed and it clamps
the trigger wheel between them the sensor is mounted to a L bracket I fabbed from some Aluminum and riveted and glued the timing belt
cover I used a ford crank angle sensor:
Crank angle Sensor Ford V8 2004-2010 BWD Part # CSS718

Hall effect sensor in place of the stock VR type. Edit, Meant to post in your other thread where people were talking about what brands of sensors worked for them on VEMS.

About $30 for the sensor and $5 for the brass sleeve. And you need a M12x1.00mm tap and 5/8" drill bit. I can post details later if you want.

At that price I'll replace both speed and reference sensors. Been throwing so much money at this vems issue and I'm practically getting no where. Much Appreciated

MS3Pro for my 951 in conjunction with the TTV 60-2 flywheel. I may just use a stock sensor though.

I should specify that this is not VEMS issue you are having. ECU itself works perfectly unless there is some permanent damage from something.

2 questions will it work with a NA flywheel? Does it have to be a MS3pro or will it work on a regular MS3?

No reason it wouldn't work with a stock flywheel. However this is the reference sensor. The reason I bought the TTV flywheel is because the speed sensor is what causes problems for MS installations normally due to high tooth count. MS3 and up support tri-tach triggering with this pattern but I couldn't find any reports from people actually using it with success. I documented this entire topic in my DIY PNP thread somewhere for more information.
