Hello mates. Got 2 good drives with Wilson the white rebel 944 this weekend. Thought maybe some of you'd like to see some pictures.

On the outside Wilson looks so crappy. I am truly ashamed of myself. But he's got the heart of a lion king. I love Wilson.

Looks like a fun grade...in 3rd.

I usually do -1psi to keep the contact patch fat at elevation...a mile high or more.

Sweet, that is a great road! You need some rally style mud flaps on that thing. Is that a 924 turbo hood scoop on the roof?

Thanks guys for your comments! Thomas, so you are saying you'll drop the air pressure in the tires for gravel travel?

Disasterman,
YES. I have material in the garage to make flaps... I think I'll make fronts & rears because the "patina" is getting pretty bad.

Hood scoop: here's the scoop (teehee): $40 Walmart "carbon look" riveted to the roof then used a 4" (?)
hole & plumbers components to pressurize the cab. When on *VERY* dry/dusty roads, then some dust still comes in the cab, so I open up the quarter window "snap caps" and it really helps.

My favorite twisty road is +4500' (-2psi) and normally 10*F cooler (+1psi), so I drop a pound to keep a good contact patch. I usually look at the scrub line on the sidewall.

Some tires have indicators. These tires could use an extra quarter of a pound but I would need a better gauge.
