Default 924/931/944/951/968 Pick and Pull Alert Thread

Starting a thread here for members to list 924 - 968's that they know of, or have seen, in their local "Pick N Pull" salvage yards. If you see one available online or have seen one in a local salvage yard please post a pic and the name / address of the yard (+ a website address if available).

Please don't post pics of past salvage yard finds that are no longer available.

It would also be beneficial if we update finds that are no longer available / crushed etc.

I would suggest this format but I'm open to suggestions and modifications !

YARD NAME / ADDRESS: ABC Salvage, 200 Empire Blvd, Anyland NY 12345
VEHICLE: 1985 944 NA
WEBSITE (IF AVAILABLE): www.abcsalvage.com
DATE FOUND / SEEN: 07/25/16
VIEWED IN PERSON Y/N: Y
COMMENTS / PARTS: Good hatch, 3 early offset phonedials, mirrors, crushed front end, cam tower gone, front struts gone (+ other condition and parts availability comments you deem important)
PICS: self explanatory

Let's pitch in and help our fellow owners keep their Porsches running!

Since I started the thread I'll post one I found online this morning:

YARD NAME / ADDRESS: LKQ Pick Your Part (Formerly Ecology)13780 E. Imperial Highway, Santa Fe Springs, California 90670 (800)962-2277
VEHICLE: 1980 924T / 931
WEBSITE (IF AVAILABLE): https://www.lkqpickyourpart.com/loca...e_Springs-282/] (search inventory by make
DATE FOUND / SEEN: 07/25/16
VIEWED IN PERSON Y/N: N - Online
COMMENTS / PARTS: Only one online pic shows 931 vented nose panel and ducted hood. Site shows vehicle has been available since 05/18/16, don't know what parts are left. LKQ is pretty good about removing vehicles from websites if they've been crushed / no longer there.

Oh man, thanks IntrepidAgent... That 931 is just down the road from me. Time to go see if there's anything I can use on my early 944...

How hard are those to get loose, anyhow? I think I read something about being able to drill out the rivets and that's it?

Default Lancaster MA

I just picked up the quarter panel from this 968 for my Matador project. The lot was great. 54 acres of nothing but Euro. 80s or newer. A number of Porsches. they had two 968s and I saw a 928 and a 944 cab there. Very organized and cleaned. Saved my butt with this part. All prepped and saved on shipping a monster sized piece. It's spot welded in. The spot welds need to be drilled out.
