WadeB on this list has a 944 with over 300k miles. I believe he also has a 944 turbo with fairly high miles too, but not sure. There use to be guy on this forum can't remember his name because its been so long, but I thought he was closing in on 400k with ihs NA -- it was in pretty rough shape as I think he drove it year around in Ohio. This guy also transplanted a turbo engine into a NA. These cars are durable if maintained and treated well.

Andy Kihm, AKA Doc Boost/ Nine-44. He was driving a BMW when we had the 944Fest at our farm two years ago. I think he still had the car, but don't recall much else (regarding the conversation....

Yes, that's him! Now it's coming back. I believe he is the same guy that mounted a turbo on a lawn mower. lol

Here is a thread from 2006 when Doc Boost had 345k on his 86' NA. The bores look like new. Pretty remarkable!

I'm not sure what happened to my original message, only part of what I typed appeared.
Anyway, 200K on the chassis, less than 50K on the motor, original transmission gave up the ghost so it has a less than 100K S2 transmission. Car is still a great daily driver type that doesn't get daily driven anymore.
