Lol....I watched your old video from the glen this morning....the one with the full course yellow near the end. It looks like you are taking the 180* turn about 10mph faster this year.

Those pesky boxsters))

My lap times were faster this year - due to the new surface, suspension setup changes, and the new R7 compound Hoosiers.

I've come a long way in 11 years!

Watching that 2005 video, you also realize how far video and data acquisition has come! The 2005 video was shot with a 640x480 bullet cam in the grill and a VHS VCR in between pieces of foam in the spare tire well (with an inverter for power). Consumer data acquisition hadn't been invented yet!

Nice going Van....Northam, Herrera are pretty quick and they were just catching up with your early pace towards the end of the weekend.

And whoa....where'd Mallais dig that 2.13 from....?

I was at Watkins Glen once for a Nationwide and Spirit Cup race. All you can see is 20% of the road course.

do you think a shorter 5th would get you past 120 at the start/finish section and the chicane(s)?

Van, you're too nice. It almost cost you the race. F those SPB's. Don't worry about messing up their race. You're the lead car. THEY should be worried about disrupting YOUR race.

What class are you in again? SP2?

I have the short 5th. A custom shorter 5th wouldn't be legal.

Great racing and fun to see your thoughts. Two wins! Interesting that the 30+ year old 944s are faster than the Boxsters. Heh...
