Double wishbone suspension for the 944/968 ?
There was someone from either this board or maybe Pelican that was working on an unequal length double A arm front suspension on either a 944 or a 968. I don't remember many details other than that the FR-S lower control arm was a practical bolt on for the front pivot points.
Have run a couple searches but haven't come up with anything, curious if the project progressed and how the rear suspension was addressed. |
Also interested.

Sounds like a job for a tubed tub, if you want to go that far.
Mac struts are fine for 99% of potential driving... Even the 997 racers still use it. The rear end is where you'd want to focus your multilink efforts. |

Look up posts from Tony G, Thingo, Duke...they're all 944 chassis with converted suspension. Bring your wallets with you!

This is the one, attempt was to use IS-F parts not FR-S.
https://rennlist.com/forums/944-turb...944-968-a.html Rennlist's search did not turn this up, had to site search using google. |
Its going to a lot of trouble for very little gain.
