DENVER 944's
Looking for a good shop in Denver area to do the head on my '86 N/A.
Any good suggestions ? |
Whats wrong with your head? broken belt?

Call up your local PCA office and ask for a recommendation.

3 zero 3 wouldn't be my first choice for a 944. Poudre Sports Car in ft Collins is good. In Denver I'd probably go to Autoworks Colorado or Eurosport.

Sorry for the hijack, but while we have some Denver area folks on the thread, any suggestions on how to track down who in CO might happen to have parts to offload? I've got a handful of heavy/bulky items that I'm looking for, and I'd rather not pay as much to ship them as I would for the parts themselves! None of the local scrappers seem to have any 944s, and I haven't had much luck connecting otherwise.
Might try the Cars & Coffee up in Lafayette this Saturday just to see if I can make some connections w/ other local 944 people. Anyone else going? Wish the regional forum weren't so dead, or I'd ask around there... |
I just got rid of all my 944 parts, I'd asked on the RMR mailing list if anyone wanted them. I ended up giving them to a club member, look for his post on the RMR facebook page...

dmjames, have you gone to CarQuip on Arapahoe, West of 75th, between Lafayette and Boulder?
Tom's got a 944.2 NA that he will just pull parts from if you need it, and a pretty sizeable warehouse. I should be at C&C in Lafayette with my Cayman. I'll look for you. Good time to grab tires... |

Jeeze, it seems these cars and their parts being jossled around between fewer and fewer owners -
everything might soon be getting rare. |
