Guys I need help with final wiring of the 1994 968 engine harness in my 1987 944 NA 8V car.

There is a 12 pin male plug with 11 active pins. 9 of the pins go to the DME and 2 go to the engine (red, white). There is an empty 12 pin female socket between the glove box and passenger fender but it only had 6 active pins. I read at 12 pin mystery connector that it goes to the light controller. I don't want to just plug it in especially where there is a 3 active pin discrepancy between the male plug and female socket.

On the 944 chassis side there is a single row white 8 on connector with 3 wires attached and I haven't figured that one out either.

If anyone has experience with this swap and this electrical issue OR can provide 1994 968 electrical schematics I would me very appreciative.
