How many miles? It's a mistake to get rid of it. Besides, $1500 is way to low -- cars in nice condition are going up. You should drive it again. Looks like a great one.

I'd say 110k miles to 130k miles, odometer was replaced and I can't find the paperwork since we moved.

A non runner would be worth more than that?

I'd love to drive it, but priorities have changed and getting it back on the road is about at the bottom of my list. Thanks for the response.

Sport seats you have there are worth $1000 alone in that condition. Highly sought after.

I would buy your car as a parts car, or maybe see if I could get her running with those sensors, or see if it needs other work. But I would do it ASAP at that price if I was anywhere near PA. Hard to tell but that seat bolster could be 110-130k miles like you said.

I understand you might just want to sell it fast. Any pics of the engine or underbody to get the ball rolling?
Good luck with sale.

At that price it's worth paying for it right now and taking a stinky grey hound from Cali to Pa with the sensors and bracket in hand. And other sensors for backup. That car is cherry and I'm not an early 924/44 interior fan but that interior is clean! Do yourself a favor and spend the TWENTY MINUTES if your LAZY and remove the two 8mm bolts and disconnect the two electrical connections for both speed and referance sensors, then install new ones. It doesn't sound hard because it's not. But if you want to give it away just send me a paypal invoice. But in reality I'll find a mechanic out their to put sensors on it and then sell it for a ton more. Think about it.
Just to add look at how nice the lower lip on the front bumper is! That says a lot about how it was treated.

Hey Luis loan me $1500 and a bus ticket to PA I'll bring you back some nice sport seats attached to a nice 84 944 in return. But I got dibs on the seats!

Well then, thanks for the honest answer . I asked for it and i got it. I guess I'm selling myself short. I was basing the price off local running examples, I guess I will have to reconsider my approach.

I've done some more searching and see what sport seats are listed for, but are people actually getting for them?

Thanks,
Tom

Do the sensors, they are an afternoon at most to replace, you don't even jack up the car. Rennbay sells a gap setting tool, though you likely have to PM him for it as its not on their site last time i looked. Install the rear konis, another 1 hour job.

Get her running and drive it.

1500 is a song/gift ..I know of a Local car, an '84, w/o sport seats that was running, had to do a belt and WP job, after he bought it. Car went for 4500...before the TB and WP job. With the sport seats you should easily? get 5K for it on EBay..always ask higher and settle lower. Very hard to start at 1500 and jack up the price to 5 K.. Wish I had seen this one a few years back...I don't even want to know how much is in mine already, and it's still not running after 3 + years of work on it. Good luck!!
