Wow - I stopped watching as it looked to peter-out around 19k. Some serious bidders jumped in.

Stunning car... oozes originality.

So they put that hideous dealer decal on the back? Seriously?

What the hell is wrong with people?

Good stuff here. My 88 is every bit that 86 (minus resell red and LSD). Hold on to an 80s Porsche if you have one.

I thought the Japanese market was the only place where prices where that high.
Here we have 951 for about $40,000 and S2 for $35,000, even plain automatics have $30k price tags.

Crazy to see how fast prices have raised.. Paid less than half that for practically the same car with 9k miles last about a year ago exactly. Honestly, BaT has some pretty crazy (high) prices people pay for cars compared to other sites. They always bring top dollar on there. Judging by comments, people also don't seem extremely familiar with 944's too.

Give it time and even the junkers will be sought after for $10-15k. That's when we all wish we bought 20 parts cars for that amount.

Finally a proper price for a 944 turbo. Hopefully more go for that price and people will start keeping them in good condition..
