Be sure to use a sealed bearing.

Which one would you recommend? I think the one I ordered is an SKF bearing, haven't opened it yet.

I don't think it should look like this one. We found this one seized in an 86 turbo after only 800 miles on the clutch job....Bruce

I've welded a cap-head bolt to the ID before and wrenched a few out. Weld before pen-oil lol.

I just checked, and my bearing is sealed. It looks just like every other pilot bearing I've used. Did that one lose its cover and dry out?

Hey that gives me an idea - weld after the penetrating oil, so the explosion blows out that pesky pilot bearing! :p

No there was no covers, we looked for one in the bore. The owner told me, "that was the bearing that came with his clutch kit." Just a very expensive kitting mistake, I guess. He named the supplier but I don't know enough facts to go there ...Bruce

No seal at all? Some people don't belong in parts supply. "ZZ" designation will set you back an extra couple dollars and save hundreds in repairs, if doing work yourself.

Ive never seen 2Z bearing in these. All had plastic covers and some only the outside was covered with plastic, inside was open. I tried the hydraulic method with grease and it only pushed out the upper plastic cover. :)

6202-ZZ I include one in my LS adapter plate combo. I got them from VXB.
Merry Christmas everyone.
