My rear window defroster stopped working, the window doesn't defrost anymore and the light on the switch doesn't turn on when the switch is engaged. At the same time, my rear window wiper stopped working. Is there a connection between those two? I checked the fuses and they're fine.
What could be the problem?

does your horn work? check fuse 28.

the wires that go to both of those items run along the rear lift-gate strut. Check to see if it is still connected.

After a long time those wires can actually break.
