Got some stuff done on the car tonight. Got the wiring behind the center stack all sorted out and got the engine bay wiped up a bit.
Sorting out the shorts behind the center stack:
re-glued the carpet back on the center stack. It was falling off and the staples had ripped out:
All back together with working lighting:
Started cleaning the engine bay:
My boys enjoying the car:

The engine seems to have a somewhat low idle. Given that the idle control valve is unplugged I assume its at fault. Going to have to find the connector for it and plug it in and see what happens.

Copenhagen blue is rare. I had one for a short time, bought as a non runner, got her running then sold it. Would like to have kept it if it wasn't in such bad cosmetic shape.

Dear Mazdawerkx: When you get into repairing the front apron on the passenger side, please document the location of the struts that hold it up. My car has an apron, but it was off the car when I got it..I have acquired some of the struts and pieces, but the parts manual and the WSM are "light" on how all this goes together and I'm somewhat lost on how the apron mounts to the bottom of the radiator support and how all the parts are arranged. Would like to get it all back together correctly...pics would help big time..Thanks Tiger 03447

I'll be sure to take and post plenty of pics. I have three other 944's and I can always send you pics of anything you may need.
