Clutch judder

So my mechanic brought to my attention that my vibration at idle is not normal and he thinks my motor mounts are bad (or at least one is) and this is contributing to my shudder of the clutch engagement in first gear. He says my clutch peddle feels smooth and good and that also in contributing to his diagnosis.
My documents show from the PO had the mounts changed right before I bought the car, but since anything is possible I suppose, then getting a bad mount is also possible so I'm going to have him replace the mounts -
Could be a big waste of money too. I guess I'll know soon enough.

Well I got the car back from my wrench and man what a difference new mounts make! The car is smooth as butter now. I've never known it like this. The PO must have been ripped off from his mechanic when they showed they replaced the mounts before.
The clutch is a bit better now but still has a little judder. He thinks there must be a hot spot. But it's drivable so I'm going to wait a while and just enjoy driving it a bit.
