Hi all,

Will these wheels fit my son's S2?

18x8 front ET28, 18x10 rear ET47

Thanks
Scott

I use this site all the time for a wheel fitment guideline. It'll at least get you close to seeing if they'll fit.

Hi Scott , the standard 944S2 has front wheels with a ET ( offset) of 55mm & 7" wide , so with a ET28 the front rim/s will stick out an extra 27mm + the extra width , meaning 8" wide dived by two = 4" , compared to the standard 7" = 3.5" ( extra half inch or 13mm ) , so that means the outer rim lip will sit out the extra 27mm + 13mm = 40 mm
Not only will they not fit ( sitting out 40mm ), but the scrub radius will be so far out it will be undrivable

Note } a scrub radius change of even 5 mm makes most last century Porsche's slightly more prone to tram tracking ( nervousness in the steering & follows the camber of the road = not good ), 13mm change in scrub radius makes most last century Porsche's tram track quite badly , so a 40mm change would be very very very bad ( read dangerous )

I think the rears should fit. The front might, you just have to try it.

OK, get confused with this offset thing so will these fit on the S2;

Front 18x8 ET42
Rear 18x10 ET47

Cheers
Scott
