Default Door Lock Question

On my 85.2, I have manual locks. All later 944's that I have seen have had power locks with the red light for the alarm system. My car does not have power locks or an alarm but is an early build late 85. Someone put anodized red aluminum caps where the lock caps should be. I looked but was unable to find a replacement door lock trim cap. Did the late 944's commonly come without power locks?

With the aluminum cap:

Without the cap:

those looks similar to the pull ***** that are sold at AutoZone. You might find some black ones there...check out aisle 5...at least in the stores over here...lots of crippity crap on that aisle...mostly tuner stuff...Tiger 03447

I replaced that crap with the original lock caps right after this post. I can't stand my cars not being original.
