Default Denso 234-1000 Oxygen Sensor

Any reports on the Denso 234-1000 Oxygen Sensor vs the Bosch single wire unit?

Definitely a good product, I've had my single wire in for a year or two and the car runs much much better with it hooked up than if I unplug it. There's no real reason to go with the 3 wire on these cars, but I believe most cars have the wiring for them.

IIRC?
The 2 white wires are for the heater element.
The DME is in open loop mode until the O2 sensor heats up and then uses the O2 signal.
Important in CA with stiff emission standards and many other states.

Thanks, chasing a cold idle vacuum leak and a hot rough idle. Disconnected O2 sensor today and fixed the hot idle issue and the car ran better and I wasted more fuel.

Ordered and will report back.

For the cost, why bother with the incorrect unit? You don't have to spend the 120 bucks the vendors ask for just because you are asking for a "Porsche" part.

It is a Bosch 13011 for the 944 and it runs about 50-60 bucks. Well worth the piece of mind, and no wire splicing!
