Most Riced Out 944 I've Seen
#31
So a regular 968 was not weird enough for you? Too many people recognize what it was? Very nicely done though+looks good.

Other than the Lemans wing, the Voxx wheels and the headlights I rather like it. I would rather have the Fiberwerks front bumper and run the secondary color all the way down the center of the hood and across the nose panel.

Its not my cup of tea for a 944. Never been a huge fan of the mesh in grills, but that's why its not on my car. I actually like the gray/black in the hood, haven't seen that before.

Seriously, the nicest early 944 I have ever seen!! Show me another one here better!!
I wish more people would fully strip and paint these cars non factory colors!!! Looks like a proper paint color change.
Also a proper engine swap for an early car!!! Much better than just copping out with a V8.
How many of you have a light weight hood? Color matched custom seats?
Took the effort to color match all the little bits?
I bet the people bashing this car are driving clapped out 944s with stock motor and faded red paint
I'd only feel right bashing this car if mine truly had better paint, better seats, a cleaner motor swap, etc.

A bit hard to tell from the pictures but it also looks like its painted a real Porsche color called "Nordic Gold"
Not very "ricey" to paint a car with a proper manufacture color

I don't know, man. It is so easy to bash someone else's tastes, but what level of modification is the cutoff? Is a V8 swap a taboo mod? How about a chip? Anything but factory paint? Aftermarket wheels? Non-Bosch windshield wipers? You can ping someone for wanting sky high money for something most wouldn't build, but the market will punish him for that, forum threads don't need to!
People do what they want with their cars. And they should! How boring would the world be if the factory said how they were made and cars never changed until in a scrapyard?
I personally don't like that color, but to me the label "rice" is so overused and misused. This forum is all about modifying Porsches.
Said the guy with the modified car.

Car still looks like a 300zx in the front. Rice is really more an attitude than a look though.
