Crossmember Torque Specs?
On the downhill side of rod bearing job in a 951. Can't seem to find the torque specs for the CROSSMEMBER MOUNTING BOLTS. I'm thinking 85 or 95NM? Can anyone verify this?
Thanks!
Thanks!

85NM (63lbs-ft). Hope that helps.
By the way Keith, have you heard about the two day (NCAC) auto-x with tarheel sports car club June 6th and 7th? If so, would you consider coming?
I'm still trying to find somebody to drive me there, don't worry I'm not asking you

85nm, check!
and yes, it's already on the calendar! unfortunately, I won't be getting any practice in this weekend (was going to go to Asheville for the 2 day thing there, but I've GOT to make some headway on this other 951...)
Will see you there!
(BTW - I've cut my hair off, so you may not recognise me. But then, you can't mistake the paint job, can you?

Well, you know I had my license revoked for a little over 7 months now right? (Only driving I've gotten is the DE event at VIR and auto-xes). I still need an alignment, front brakes, transaxle fluid, and fix a radiator leak.
Like that's not enough I also need to find somebody to take me there. (I owe Tarheel Sports Car Clubsome money because of an event I missed earlier this season too!)
I think I'll be out there though, and this year I think I do better, if the event is longer than just a regular auto-x with 4-5 runs. It's a weird feeling getting in MY own car, but not feeling at home that first run.
PS: You still have the 17s right? My car is just about bone stock right now, with factory sport susp. pieces, but no limited slip(will wait until it blows again!)
Here's a pic of mine as it looks today:
I should be getting a turbo sometime next year.
See you there.

The event is full now, you can still pre-register, into the waiting list, and may get a chanse to race if enough people un-register, or don't show up.
You can follow the link in my earlier post, or for more direct info, follow this link.
It's going to be July 9th and 10th actually, in Rocky Mount (the old airport runway I believe).
