Cause all i do is read this forum and most everybody likes it..plus my car just seems sluggish( 87na) so i thought it may help.i just got it and have changed the plugs and wires and it idles good and cranks right up but just seems slow...like when i change gears it feels like your starting over in each gear..i know thats a bad description. It doesnt really pull hard to thru the gears..i dont drive it hard so im talking about normal driving...just thought sesfoam may help?

I wouldn't put in any additive personally. What do you mean by sluggish? Does acceleration feel like the 8 second range? They're not really fast in a straight line, turns are where it's at. Try changing the air filter.

Follow the booster vacuum line and see if there's another joint you can undo. I seafoamed a 944 a couple of years ago and ran into the same issue. I just can't seem to remember where we ended up undoing the hose.

I always lol at seafoam. The videos on youtube are priceless!

If your car is sluggish, there is more than likely an underlying problem. Might want to try troubleshooting to verify that sensors and the like are not acting up.

It's a huge PITA to get that hose out. I did the same thing and saw ZERO difference in performance. Check your air filter, Sensors Vacuum Lines. Only thing seafoam is good for In my honest opinion is to help clear up clogged fuel lines. That's about it.

Well i have bigger issues than seafoam i think. I just tried to drive from baton rouge to memphis to see my dad in the hospital and about 50 miles into it the car just had no power at all.give it gas and it got louder but no faster.not slipping tho just not gettin much faster.i was going 70to and up hill it hardly pulled...i stopped and when im in neutral and the clutch out i can hear what sounds like throw out bearings? Could that be the power loss? Also there is no miss and the tach stays steady and no sign of slipping. Does it cost alot for a clutch at a shop?

If RPM went up but not your speed then I'd say something is slipping somewhere. If RPM didn't increase then you may have engine issues. Then again I can floor my 944 in 5th gear with almost no acceleration unless I'm over 80, which is what downshifting is for

It sounds like you have a plugged or melted cat. Seafoam is a great way to kill a cat IMO. Might be time to put in a test pipe, see what happens.

I thought I read some folks pulling the vacuum line off the nipple underneath the throttle body and using that. You'd think air going in through there would hit all 4 cylinders but I don't know for sure. There are quite a few places you could use to get it in there but the key is to make sure it's hitting everything - not just dumping into a couple cylinders. I'm not sure if the brake booster does that but I recall reading a lot of folks taking that direction.
