Default Who has GT Racing side skirts?

I'm looking at the curved/dished rocker panels that they have. (These guys https://www.gt-racing.com/products-p...rocker-panels/)

I'm looking to see how they're installed and the fitment around the wheel wells if anyone happens to be kind enough to share some photos. I want to throw on a set in a few months as I'll be getting rid of the rocker schutz on my rockers when I paint it next week.

Hello God_bot,

Here are my side skirts that got installed in 2008 from IFC Racing.
These side skirts look identical to the ones at GT Racing. They are held in place via four screws- two in front/rear along with a strip a rubber.
Note: Pre-drill your holes in the side skirts before painting.

As a result now I have to use an extremely low profile hydraulic jack, or put the car on ramps before lifting.

Awesome, thanks man! I'll probably use some 3M doublesided tape so no worries about holes. I forgot to ask earlier but how much further down do they hang past original?

Hello again!

The 3M tape doesn't sound like a bad idea.
Hope this helps

Toran your pics with the tape measure is good but the question is how much lower are they than the stock rockers. Is is possible to measure both the stock and the new rockers on the same car for an accurate measurement difference? Thanks if that is possible.

Hello comatb,

I would have to remove the wheels and remove the rocker to produce such a measurement.
I was thinking that if a car didn't have the side skirts one could take the same measurements and split the difference.

The overall diameter of the tire and the suspension ride height must be the same. As in measured on one car to keep these factors constant. That's the only way to get a true measurement of how much lower these rockers are. Well if you do ever have to remove the rockers please update this thread. Thanks.

My car came with these already installed. They are riveted in many places and seem to fit much tighter than the ones pictures above.
