That's what I was wondering - it's your "flash" switch! (ie. you don't have to reach over and crank the headlight **** clockwise just to flash someone.)

BTW, has anyone tried installing Xenon ("blue") fog lights? That would be a cool upgrade, if it doesn't melt the housing.
