Default 91 944 S2 injector issue

I had an engine hydrolock with fuel on my 91 S2 race car. I have ordered a new FPR and dampner. Unfortunately the 91 S2 used a unique, expensive and not readily available injector, Bosch 0282 155 003. Since this is a possible cause of the problem (which i would like to eliminate), I am looking for a substitute High impedance injector, which is cheaper and more readily available. So far I have found the Bosch 0280 155 831 from a 5cyl Volvo Turbo.

The information I have found is that the 003 flows 229 Gm/min or 30.29 lbs/hr and
The 831 flows 240.4 Gm/min or 31.8 lbs/hr. These numbers came from 2 different charts, since I can't find a single spec chart that has full information on both injectors.

My other choice is add ballast resistors (the 91 doesn't use any) and go with pre-91 low impedance injectors. I am not sure of their flow rate and whether the 91 (again unique) DME will drive them properly.

Any input will be greatly appreciated

i have been using injectors out of a supercharged corrado for a couple months now, i picked them up at a local junk yard. my air/fuel ratio has been spot on and no problems with them since the swap. you could also just send out your injectors to get rebuilt.

1991 944S2:
Bosch# 0 280 155 003 - 15.1 ohms 264cc @ 3bar

VW Corrado G60:
Bosch part# 0 280 150 905 - 15.8 ohms 264cc @ 3bar

Thanks for the information. I may have a set buried in my Corrado stuff. If not they should be a lot easier to get a hold of than the 003s
