Motive Power Bleeder.....now I'm a believer.
FWIW
I finally got around to changing my master cylinder today and use the Motive i got from Summit.
I tried the method of no fluid in it first with no luck. But once I used it per instructions with fluid in it thing worked great. Had pedal pressure in less than 3 min. I admit it made a bit of a mess but more than worth it.
I love it, will be given a place of honor in my shop with a light shining on it. If you don't have one get one.

I gave mine away, a vacuum bleeder is no mess and works just as well for me so far (just don't let the reservoir run out, but no mess!)

You wont get a mess if you use it "dry". Takes a bit longer, but no mess to clean up. Dry is when you just fill the resevoir up with fluid, and dont put any in the bottle. Vacuum bleeders are garbage. I went through 1 mighty vac, and 2 craftsman ones before buying my Motive. I liked it so much I bought the adapters for my VW, Tahoe, and Subaru. Great tool!

I never use the Motive dry anymore and I don't really know why people do it (unless they are worried about a hose burst). It's just way better not worrying about running the reservoir dry or opening and closing the system to keep the reservoir topped off. Gotta wash the jug out when done. So what? Running it dry is like using half a Motive IMO.
And I can't remember the last time I made a mess. But that's me.

Best $20 I've spent! Used this more times than I can remember on many various automobiles.
