I had no issues on the street with my RH/RD radiator with shroud and single 11" fan.

It was track use that made me add the secondary radiator.

I kept my AC...

I wanted to use an updated condensor though. So that I can run the updated compressor and dryer with the 134.

If enough people wanted these again I might consider it.
I would need to get some more tools

I'm not looking for bracketed. Need to make my own because I had to make a custom radiator support. For my rad and fan setup.

Very interested in this. Kuel updated condenser is no longer available. I wanted to overhaul complete AC system. Condenser, compressor, dryer etc. Please let me know if you are still offering these. Thanks

I got a new one from ebay about 1.5 years ago for my early car. Cost around 85 USD. Can't seem to find it now.
Maybe spend some time searching for it!

I also recall seeing a VERY well priced unit basically identical to the ones I made on ebay, but couldn't find it just now either.
I've thought about making these again but knowing that one was out there frankly I couldn't compete.

Has anyone experimented with RED TEK® 12a Hydrocarbon Refrigerant a HC-based refrigerant from Thermofluid Technologies.

Supposedly a direct replacement and retrofit refrigerant option for replacing R134a and R12 refrigerants in automotive air conditioning and refrigeration systems. 12a operates at lower head pressures and offers improved cooling properties and performance verses R134a and R12.

why would you bother?
944 with R134 even with stock condenser works GREAT.

plus you'd need to order 2 of those kits to have enough refrigerant to do a 944 system ($130) whereas even in California sufficient R134 costs about $30.

typically stuff sold as an R12 substitute is propane or some other similar type of flammable gas...danger zone.

Why not just use R12? Take an online certification test $20, easy to pass. Then buy ebay R12 for $20-$30 a can. Yes more than R134 but you have the "good" stuff.

Any chance you are making these again Spencer? Or anyone know of a company making these for early 944? I see Griffith doesn't do the early ones anymore
