Default Rear Wiper Issue

Got caught in a heavy downpour on my way to work yesterday and had the back wiper going.

When I got to the parking garage, I noticed the wiper had stopped, but when I looked out the back I could see the nut still turning around.

Any suggestions? Is it a matter of tightening something so it doesn’t slip?

Thanks

could need to be adjusted or the arm teeth are stripped.

Loosen the nut and try to feel where the teeth engage.v
Tighten enough to hold it good, but not strip it. Some loctite may be a good idea.

+1 to both posts above. Teeth may be stripped, but I believe the toothed peg is conical, and tightening the nut that holds the blade arm on will fix it if not stripped.

But I am not one to talk, I just deleted my entire rear wiper assembly. Let me know if you need any parts...
