I recently redid the rear of my car by putting a Euro Bumper on it with the rubber pads removed. I was able to order the bumper from a guy in europe off ebay UK for about $175.00 USD. More affordable and a better fit/look than the texas performance fiberglass version.

Funny, I was prepping my third Euro bumper this weekend. Yes the Euro rear fits better than TP. The TP one needs work but the Euro needs work also if you want to remove the rubber. You also need the Euro rear bumper mounts to go with it. Plenty available in EU/UK.

Here's mine being prepped, rubber removed and holes plugged, sanding, prime & paint next:

you could always mod the stock one for a simular look, push it in, weld the pad holes and trim the side pieces.

Not even close. It will still be a heavy three piece with plastic panels and when you trim the side panels they will not match the line of the body anymore. Works ok on the front though, sort of, but still not as clean as a Euro front.

Maybe heavier but he never mentioned weight savings just a cleaner look. I still think it looks good especially if there's a budget The Euro bumper still is nicer, no doubt but still looks way better than those massive thick pads.

This one didn't have the bumper shocks pressed in, my friends 951 S

I've always liked it personally, lot of work especially since you can't just mold it with bondo and fiberglass. You need a non-sag structual adhesive and the special gun (roughly $200-$250 for both). If you don't mold it in then of course install is a breeze. Looks good thanks for the post
