fog light cover screw question
in trying to replaced my cracked lenses i found that both lens cover screws are frozen in the housing, not allowing me to remove the old covers.. the new lenses i bought have the screws and around the screws is the plastic from the housing.. i fear that if i try to remove the screws on my 944, i will break the mounting points off of the housing.. are there any tricks you guys know to remove the screws without breaking the housing? i can post pics if need be.

I had the same issue just a couple weeks ago. Seemed like it was the original screws from 25yrs ago!
I sprayed WD40 on both sides followed by a few light taps and it soon became unfrozen.

yeah, i don't see any real way to get at the screws other than a penetrant.. and even that is really limited. i may remove the entire fog light assemblies and go at it from there

Can't help here but aren't the lenses alone almost as much as the whole fixture? Might be worth exchanging the lenses for the lamp assemblies if that is the case.

I ended up removing the entire fog light assemble.
The screws bolting the assemble to the car was again the original screws...old and rusted.
After a little cursing and WD40 I won.
