Farewell to jackstands...
Hello lift...
People dream for funny things and this is one of mine - finally coming true. Couldn't afford it when I was young, couldn't justify it during the tuition years, no way during the push for retirement. I've missed about 4 of these good deals over the last few months, but today I got there early enough, the lift was good enough and the cash was just enough.
So I bought this Rotary Lift, 2 post for $900. I don't really know much about them but I figured I had to have a 2 post and I needed low overall ht for my ceiling of 10-3." I'l lose the opener on my "little" door but I'm thinking it will fit there just fine.
And then the shock set in... theres no way I can lift the lift. But, the seller came through with free use of his antique forklift. So anyway, now I have another adventure - getting this puppy installed. Pretty good dream, huh?...Bruce

Definitely awesome to have but I think they take up too much room unless you have a truly huge garage or commercial facilities. Take a look at the first pic. It takes up enough room for two cars. I think I would rather have more open space and work on jackstands.

Totally worth the space lost IMO.
Everything is easier. Everything.

Outstanding. Car people define their life as BL ( before lift) and AL. Al makes car work fun.
