993 Turbo Twists were available for both wide and narrow body cars.

To my knowledge, the factory 996 version only came in 11" rears. I am running 996 Turbo Twist II's on my late offset car, I needed to use a 7mm spacer in front to clear the grease cap with the center cap and I bought replica 18x10 et65 wheels for the back. And yes, the knockoffs are heavy, although the factory wheels, even hollow spokes, aren't exactly light. The 11" rear will fit on an early offset car with a spacer but will not on a late offset car.

Here's a pic of them on my car:

If you ever come down to the Springs, let me know, I would LOVE to see your car in person!

You'll have to make the trek up to Cars & Coffee in Lafayette on the first Saturday of every month.

Hollows may be more desirable but there is only one thing, you have to sell them....because if you go to scrap them you might get $65 bucks for the set...

Probably best to post up some part numbers. Reletivly few of the twists are actually hollow spokes.

Beautiful looking car there Hicks. I have an 88 turbo S that I am putting back together that will, at some point soon, hopefully look as good as yours.

The Tire Rack sells 17" Chinese turbo twists - $650 for a set of 4. Does anyone have any experience with them?

I never had a set of hollow twists. This thread was posted when I was thinking of buying a set.
