Default Engine light

My "ATTENTION ENGINE" light started flashing lately when I make a hard corner or brake hard. Any ideas on what might be causing this? My guess was maybe low fluid levels but I checked and everything seems fine.

It's probably a break wear sensor. It's either telling you that you have a worn brake pad or that one of the sensors is defective or loose in it's connector on the strut/shock towers. I'd get under car or pull the wheels and have someone sit inside while you wiggle the connectors and wires going to the calipers. See if the light comes on. When I did my brake job I just cut the wires and soldered and coated them with liquid rubber tape. The sensors kept braking when I tried to install them in the pads. It's easier to just look at them every 10K miles to see how they're doing.
