Default Fitting Late Wheels on an Early Car w/ Spacers

Hey guys,

I was just going to get rid of my Kinesis Supercups after my latest incident with the front spacer, but I decided not to because I like them too much and I've been through a lot of **** to get them to where they are now.

I have 1 1/4" rear spacers, that fit fine, but I want to now fit my front wheels, 1 1/4" +/- 1/4" seems to be fine, i've had them fit before, but I didn't realize they were not torqued properly and unsafe. I had the hub centric arm machined down to clear it, but when I was mounting them a few months ago one of the spacers broke through, so it wasn't machined down far enough.

What are my options for front spacers in the 1 inch range, any precut spacers or how should I get the measurements to get a pair of custom new ones?

Thanks!

Search for my thread on here. It has details of when I fit later 911 wheels on my early offset turbo.

20mm OEM Porsche spacers for the front with longer wheel studs.

I forgot to say, I'd rather go the adapter route to not have to convert to longer wheel studs

From what I understand the H&Rs are hub-centric therefore they won't fit the front of the 944 with the bearing cap without machine work, am I wrong?

Hello, I have not used these wheel adapters, But they say they will make them anyway you want them. You can measure the hubs to get the right diameter you need to clear the grease cap, and the Warranty sounds good. They are not H&R Name Brand, but you aren't spending $300.00 for a name.

The bearing dust caps on my Turbo are smaller diameter than the hub centers, so my hub-centric spacers (eBay) fit over them just fine.
