Water Leak on the Driver's side of the car
Hi everyone,
When driving in the rain for a short while, a leak starts on the driver's side of the car at about lower leg/ankle on the left leg. In other words....place your foot on the small rubber pad to the left of the pedals. Just above the ankle water drips on your leg/pants.
Any ideas?
Thanks in advance.

Hey man, first off, good to see another automatic
Things to check for on the foot well area:
Check fuse box. (if you've ever opened that box and pulled it out, you'll see why).
Check all four sunroof drains (fuse box area, battery, and the other two end up under the car.
Check sunroof seals
Check door trim seal
Check window trim seals
Check windshield seal
Check mirror seal (and on the inside of the door, it's sealed with a plastic liner, sometimes it can break...etc)
I would enclose a tight as a seal joke...but can't think of any at the moment

Leaves and debris fall inside the the engine bay...there are two drainage ports near the firewall. One by the battery and one next to the fuse box. Over time this turns to mulch and clogs the hole. You have to cut a cloths-hanger and dig it out...there is probably a LOT in there. I got an entire handful. When it rains the water cant escape and it soaks your footwell. It happens to to me every fall..

Check the seal on the heater box in the cowl, Mine was allowing water in though it came in more on my right foot than left. It was pretty easy to fix, i just used some 3m strip caulk.

Check for cracks/rust by the firewall around the brake master cylinder booster.
