thread size, fuel rail cap
I was researching some fuel related stuff on Clarks Garage and in the FPR area he references a rail cap of 11mm X 1.5 mm threads and in the area of making an adapter for the fuel rail gauge he references 12 X 1.5 mm threads. What is the real skinny on this?

I cant say for sure. What I did was went to Porsche and bought a new cap , actually 2 of them, and drilled and tapped one for 1/8 Npt. I was going to use it to observe fuel pressure, etc for the dyno run. I havent got to it though. Had folks in the hospital, etc..........
I am not ogingto say it is not an 11 but as you know that is unusual.
Yes I could go measure it for you, but I am not where I can.

Ha... I don't think any of our sponsors offer these. I used to tig them or turn them out of brass but its cheaper to just buy them from Uzbekibekistan and poof, 9 months later they show up in the mail. These are the correct though (no cheezy orings or teflon tape) I only have a few, they adapt directly to 1/4" barbed pushlok hose. $16 plus 2.50 for mailing. Email me if you want...Bruce
