Default The official 924/31/44/51/68 interior thread

Since we are spending a fair amount of time behind the wheel of our cars, it will be nice to see what some of the interiors look like and how they have survive over the years. It will be nice if you guys could provide some infos such as__year__mileage__either your car is a DD or use for pleasure only, and if the interior has been redone. Also we should limit the pics to five (only of the int) if it's ok with you guys.

Ok will start with mine 93-968/82,519klms (a little over 50k miles) original interior except for a CS steering/Cd changer & the boot/**** being redone to match the black CS.Pleasure driven every days weather permitting (store for the winter).BTW this isn't meant to be a beauty contest so,either you drive a very early car or a late one let's see them interiors.TIA

attention *****....

just kidding. that would be like the pot calling the kettle black... i realize most of you have seen my interior. in any case, i wanted a 968 CS wheel like Ernie's but i decided to go with an airbag wheel because of the fascist inspection and insurance context... i was waiting on a 996 wheel when a nice Carrera GT wheel became available at L. A. Porsche. i'm still searching for a rear carpet in light grey. i don't want a black carpet back there, as it makes the car too hot in the summer....

my 968. sport seats, RS carpet from appbiz, 993 RS steering wheel, rear seat delete, and RS style door cards. Not as pretty as Ernie's, but it suits me!

What seat recover kit did you use? Did you replace them yourself of have it done?

I don't have any pictures of my interior at the moment, but I'll snap some soon and throw them up here. But what I did with my ashtray was track an auxiliary cord from the CD player faceplate, up behind the stereo, and down and around under the gearshift, and up into the ashtray. It keeps the interior organized and nice looking and keeps my iPod still when cornering.
