C2 Turbo wheel color poll!
So im thinking of changing the color of the wheels on my black 968. Obviously im between a few different colors so i need some subjective help! My original inclination was towards burnt orange with orange CLUB SPORT script on the sides like the ROW CS models... but the wifey isn't so sure about the bright colors and im starting to second guess it as well...
So anyways, let me know what you think! Heres a pic of the car as she sits now (sorry, best picture i have for now...). And please post pics of any black cars with different wheel colors if you have them! I searched a bit and most of the pictures are red x's now...

Definitively keep your plan to paint them. Go for gunmetal. It's not too flashy but it would look very slick/stealth. Maybe put a stripe around the rim that's a different color than the wheels...red.

here are some pics ive found over the last few weeks... Ive got some orange, red, black, and a gunmetally kind of color... I have to admit im still kind of between the orange and the gunmetal...

On a black car either this color or that one.Question of taste but orange/red on a black 968 look like Honda Kids stuff.

My 968 with OE colored wheel even though it's not black it's still is a dark color car,if you go with black on black unless it has polish lips or break the overall look of car with a decal like this CS lol the car will look like a big chunk of coal .Last pic ( black center/orange lips).

i guess my inspiration with the orange (other than the gt3rs..) was from the CS cars. i don't think it would look that out of place next to a line of CS cars with light blue, red, and even yellow wheels... but point taken Ernie... I want it to at least be in keeping with the brand without being too flashy...

Seeing that black/orang lip picture, I still say gunmetal/orange lip. The gunmetal will bring out the wheels lines better than black, and the orange adds a great contrast.
