Needs some info

Have a 90 944 S2 with stock design 90 wheels and tires am thinking about buying a 88 924s as a DE car. Question will the S2 wheels fit on the 924 s. If not the car I am looking at has r compound tires on it currently and I will need to drive this about 600 miles to get it home and will want to drive it to DE events. Does anybody near Columbus Ohio have an old set (any shape as long as they can driven) and some street tires that will fit a 924S they want to part with?

Thanks in advance

Should fit, but I do not know if spacers would be required, as I don't know much about 924S cars, and what offsets they came with.

I have seen them on a 924S before.

924S have late offset. You should be good to go.

On that note, I have a 'square setup' of 4/ea 8" 968 cup wheels which are in nice shape that I am looking to sell....
They have older Hankook R compound tires on them which I probably would not use on the track but would be fine for around town driving. Probably not more than a few thousand miles left in them anyway.

If you're interested I can send pics.

Was going to make these my track wheels but I have upsized to 17" for the track.

Thanks, I would prefer regular street tires vs R compound
