Sign of a water pump leak?

Hey guys I'm trying to figure this leak out. Car leaks a good amount of coolant after being driven. No white smoke or weird issues while driving, temps are fine no rapid increases.

I notice that after driving the car I see a large puddle on the ground form around where the timing belt cover is on the passenger side. I'm assuming my water pump gasket is the cause but wanted to hear other insight and possibilities.

Thanks for all the assistance! :corn:

Hose?

From what i can tell the hoses are fine... I took off the timing belt cover and turned on the car and the water pump pulley making a grinding noise and moving up and down has it rotated. So I assume that is the source of my man leak or just a pump that needs replacing anyway along with a leak else where lol. Any thoughts?

If your water pump pulley is moving up and down and making a grinding noise, yes, it's shot. Typically when they start to go, water will begin to "weep" out of a hole in the housing as a tel-tale give-away. If you've got those symptoms, it's time for a rebuild... Check out Zims for a reliable rebuilt pump.

While you're in there, you should consider re-sealing the oil cooler housing too. It's much easier to get at with the water pump removed. Then there's all of the shaft seals and o-rings that you might as well replace, oh, and don't forget new timing and balance shaft belts. Yeah, the list builds quickly, but if you don't do it all now, you'll be repeating work later.
