Default Need help with wheels for Porsche 944 Turbo

Hello!
I just bought a 1986 944 Turbo. I don't know much about 944s yet, so I need help with wheel selection. I found some rims that I like, it's Konig Lace 18x8, with 5x112 pattern and 35 offset. I found online manufacturer who makes wheel adapters and they can make and adapter that will fit 5x130 vehicle and 5x112 wheel, the adapter is 1.25" thick. Will that set-up work with my car?
Thank you!

Not with that offset. Factory offset is 23mm and the 87 and later cars are 52mm or more.

It can be done if the offset is large enough to allow for a second set of studs. I did this to mount a set of aftermarket 10x18 Porsche wheels on my BMW. That was 5x130 porsche studs to 5x120 BMW lug bolts. The spacer was 30 mm, made by radusa.

I did it because the wheels were laying around. You want 'em?

doug

The adapter is way too thick ,mainly because of the low wheel offset (et35) ,you need max a 0,6" thick adapter .
